Effective June 2008 on ALL orders over $3000 CDN
Please take note that clients placing Iraqi Dinar orders over $3000CDN will be required to undergo a one-time identification process by phone. Such clients will need to assign an individual that can confirm their identity on our company's behalf. It is easiest to assign a family member or employer for this process.
The assignees will need to provide us with the client's passport or driver's license number, its place of issuance as well as their date of birth.
This regulation was introduced by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), and is a requirement under Part 1 of the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering), Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) and associated regulations of Canada.
